Having perused your gallery I offer one peice of advice: You've got all components of basic anime anatomy down. Your next goal should be getting OCD about the face and head. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your bodies, but the heads need more work.
Ignoring anything related to anime/ anime styles, pay attention to the elasticity of the face. It will help. >Not to hamper on your style or anything, I just think it could be improved if it more realistic in depth. Bad anime generally looks flat. Rarely does one come across an anime DeviantArtist who has both a good concept of body and head; either usually looks flat, never in harmony. Be the exception.
No I get it. Thing is, I'm a hobby artist. Which means I've never taken any art classes. I've taught myself how to get this far and trying to get better. There isn't much I can do about my style though, that's just who I am as an artist. As far as the realism, some people like things more realistic which is totally understandable (most of the time I try to), but some people like more of a cartoon-ish style. And I think my style just happens to be one of the ones that falls in the middle between them. ^_^' It'll probably help once I add some color too, lol. I never do my best work of first sketches, they're mainly just to get the idea down. Then I can go back and nit-pick at them. >_>
